IMPORTANT: If you did not use the 2479 pre-release or late, you must first upgrade to 2479 and THEN upgrade to 2499.
WHY? In release 2479, the location of where your goals is stored internally had been moved. If you upgrade to 2499 from a version earlier than 2479, you risk losing your goals. See download v.2479 link below for instructions on how to upgrade correctly.
Regardless, you should backup your goals on a weekly basis, at minimum.
